How To Earn an SRES Designation
Follow the steps below to earn a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation.

Complete the two-day Senior Real Estate Specialist course at Champions School of Real Estate

Remain in good standing with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR)

Maintain membership in the SRES council (annual dues are waived for the first year and are $99 thereafter)

The 15-hour Seniors Real Estate Specialist course satisfies the course requirements for the SRES designation. It also satisfies the elective requirement for the ABR and SRS designations.

- Differentiate between senior housing options, from age-restricted communities to assisted living facilities
- Assist seniors with Housing for Older Persons Act (HOPA) applications
- Use pensions, 401(k) accounts, and IRAs in real estate transactions
